Territorial Scope and Exclusions of Liability
The insurance cover does not extend to liability claims:
- asserted before foreign courts (this also applies in the case of a domestic enforcement judgment pursuant to Section 722 of the German Code of Civil Procedure – ZPO),
- arising from the infringement or non-observance of foreign law.
The insurance cover does not extend to activities carried out through branch offices, sub-branches or other advisory offices abroad, unless these are included by special agreement.
